“After hiring my own life coach, I spent a year changing the course of my life. I followed my heart and founded a nonprofit organization, and after years of training and coaching in various ways, I felt that life coaching was the missing piece. I registered for a coach training expecting to gain skills and methods in the practical sense, which I did. What I did not expect was the transformative experience of working with Jordan and becoming a part of something greater. Jordan connects with each of her students in a warm and authentic way. Not only does she collaborate with you and support you through the training process, she manages to learn about you and your passions and coach you at the same time. She demonstrates a genuine interest in each person she meets, and her abilities as a teacher are extraordinary. I feel fortunate to have been given the gift of some of her wisdom and expertise”.– Tara Taylor, Founder Single Moms Strong
I help coaches fine tune their skills and become exceptionally good at what they do so that they can bring their inspired coaching mission to life and have the best experiences with their clients.
Coaching changes lives. Not just at work or at home but in schools, hospitals, corporations, churches, communities and small businesses. It helps people accomplish extraordinary things and become more than they could on their own.
That’s why it’s important to help coaches show up boldly and confidently in the work that they do.
My dream comes true every time a coach shares her/his success story. When they get their first or even their 100th client. When they coach a family past a giant obstacle, when they launch their own coaching practice.
The best part of coaching is getting to partner with brilliant, innovative, heart-centered people who never cease to be amazing.
I’ve been a Community Relations Coordinator, Marketing Manager, Consultant, V.P. of Training and Development. For over 25 years I’ve been a coach. The International Coach Federation describes coaching this way:
“ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment”.
I wrote my first coaching book in 1996 and lead my first coaching retreat in 2004. In everything I do no matter the work, my inspired mission is always the same…helping you go where you want to go.
I help coaches move forward and leaders go to the next level in their inspired missions.
The Essentials Master Class Series will give you tools to strengthen your coaching skills so that you can move forward and serve the people you want to serve.
Your success matters most, BOLD, CONFIDENT, MISSION INSPIRED
I wake up every single day and get to do work that I love that lights me up from the inside out. I’m a lot “coach” mixed with a good dose of “cheerleader“.
My inspired mission and calling is to help mission inspired coaches and leaders go where they want to go.
I know what it’s like to be inspired by a mission to help and serve the world in powerful ways. I also know what it’s like to need a little or a lot of help or support to get there.
I was painfully shy and insecure, unable to speak in front of 5 people without having a giant vulnerability meltdown after the fact! I struggled to feel my own worth and to understand my value or brilliance. In fact, I wondered if I even had brilliance! I’ve since come to believe that everyone does.
Stressful insecurity meltdowns were a way of life, I wanted to bring my ideas and passion to life but I was too busy hiding and being really hard on myself. Something deep had to change for me if I would ever be able to survive doing the work that I wanted to do.
The perspective shift came when I had a thought of my work not being work but service. If I had something refreshing to give to a thirsty world, why would I hold back in fear and not give them a drink?
That’s the question that I asked myself and the question that preceded my shift. I didn’t need to be insecure about being a source of generosity and refreshing in the world. I took the focus off of me and focused on those around me. I asked the question “how can I honor who they are by really seeing them, speaking honestly to them and serving them?”
Every once in a while I might get a little twinge of that bothersome critic called insecurity, but for the most part I’m comfortable in my skin, confident in my calling and outgoing. I’m able to comfortably speak to hundreds (or more) serving the people I’ve been called to serve and living my inspired mission.
The transition wasn’t easy. I did a lot of inner work, got vulnerable enough to ask for help, prayed many prayers, and learned many love lessons. I’ve worked with amazing coaches who helped me understand how to “be myself” and appreciate my unique DNA. Part of the stress that I had and that many coaches and leaders have now is not being sure of who to be for other people. My freedom journey taught me that I just need to be comfortable being me and to say “yes” to my inspired mission, that’s what matters most.
“I went from being shy and insecure, unable to speak in front of 5 people without having a giant meltdown after the fact!”
I thought that I was supposed to perform for people or for the approval of others. I didn’t know that letting go of what others thought of me to embrace the life and mission I was designed to live would bring me boat loads of freedom and excitement about living a great life. Taking my eyes off of comparing myself to others and getting honest about who I am was a game changer.
I was better able to “go where I wanted to go” and now I help others do the same! I never thought that my greatest pain would turn into my great calling and service to others.
What’s happening now?
I’ve had the joy of training hundreds of life coaches and leaders helping them learn how to coach. Then we work together to cultivate the skills that they need to deeply connect to their clients and to powerfully support them to achieve the transformational outcomes they desire. I love helping people learn how to coach and then how to become really good at helping their clients have lasting transformational shifts.
